​ Our Dental Assisting with Dental Radiology course is TWELVE WEEKS long (2 to 3 Days per week) and includes a Dental Assisting and Dental Radiology Course book with course materials. Once enrolled, the students will apply for a provisional permit for dental radiography to take x-rays in Indiana to complete clinical training. This permit is given by the Indiana State Dept. of Health and will have a six-month expiration date.  This course covers, Hipaa, Osha, Infection control, Blood borne Pathogens, CPR, Dental materials, Dental Instruments and Dental Radiography.

Already a Dental Assistant but want to become an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant?

EFDA course is Six weeks of hands on instruction in real dental op's. Course work, supplies and book included.  Extensive instruction on Dental Materials, Ergonomics, sealants and restorative placement in dental operatories.  Class meets one day per week for 4 hours. (2 additional days open practice at no charge) Must be a Dental Assistant with a minimum of one year experience or have graduated from a Dental Assisting program.
